VENEERS

Veneers- it's a lining on the teeth, allowing you to find a beautiful,

a smooth and snow-white smile. Veneers are plates, the thickness of

which can vary from 0.5 to 0.7 mm and serve purely aesthetic purposes.

With these pads corrected irregularities, yellowness, curvature of the

teeth and they are mainly applied on the teeth in the smile line, covering

only their outer part.

It's a great way to bring back the appeal of a smile, even in almost

hopeless cases.

 

Installation 

 

The veneer is made in the laboratory individually for everyone

client's. Previously, a thin layer of enamel is worn off the teeth

thickness equal to the thickness of the lining to be installed.

After removing the enamel layer, a mold is removed from the teeth,

repeating the surface of the tooth is made, the so-called model.

While there is a production of veneer on the resulting mold, the client is

installed a plastic plate that protects the tooth.

Color selection happens on the basis of the most appropriate for the

client and on the basis of the color of his teeth.

Before installing the veneer, the client's teeth are treated with a specially designed gel, giving the tooth roughness to ensure that the veneers are better held. They are glued with a special gel.

 

What veneers are made of

They can be made of ceramic or composite filling materials. Of course, the most popular are ceramic veneers. They are made of fine porcelain. They are very similar to natural tooth enamel and reliable. 

How much are veneers? It should be noted that this procedure is quite expensive, and not everyone can afford it.

 

Contraindications:

 

The teeth with presence of caries

Teeth abrasion

Diseases of the oral cavity, such as periodontitis

A severely damaged tooth or tooth on the surface of which a large seal is installed

Teeth with damaged or partially lost enamel

Bruxism

Malocclusion

A lot of people are concerned about the grinding of enamel before installing veneers, because it is for life, so you should carefully consider this step and weigh all the "pros" and "cons".
